
Dr. Chad Wagstaff
Dr. Chad Wagstaff was born in Brigham and raised in Perry. Dr. Wagstaff attended Perry Elementary and Box Elder Jr. High and High School before completing his undergraduate education at Utah State University as a music major in piano performance. After completing his undergraduate prerequisites at USU, Dr. Wagstaff attended Northwestern University Dental School, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. After graduating from Northwestern, he lived in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, for over 13 years where he owned and operated a private dental practice.
Dr. Wagstaff was married for 15 years to his high school sweetheart, Shawna Nelson, with whom he had three children before Shawna passed away from cancer in 2010. In 2013, Dr. Wagstaff was married to his lovely wife Maria Santana. They now have a total of seven children.
Dr. Wagstaff served an LDS mission in Argentina, is fluent in Spanish, is an accomplished pianist, and enjoys woodworking, photography, model railroading, fly fishing, camping, backpacking, canoeing, skiing and playing the bassoon, among other hobbies. His most recent woodworking project was building a wood strip canoe, which he now enjoys using on Pineview Reservoir.
